Swisskiss is a small kennel located in beautiful Victoria British Columbia, Canada. We fell in love with the breed years ago and have been actively involved in showing and breeding since 1989. We have bred and owned some of the Top Bernese in Canada and Top Producers in Canada and the US since 1991. Madeline was honored to have been able to judge puppy and veteran sweeps at both the Canadian and the US National Specialties.

Our Goals As Breeders

Our goal was to produce happy, healthy puppies with outgoing, friendly temperaments that excel in conformation as well as retaining the natural working abilities of a Bernese Mountain Dog. We always bred with the betterment of the breed in mind, screening for hereditary diseases and researching pedigrees thoroughly to find the best dogs for our breeding program. We are passionate about our breed and committed to helping the breed by entering all of our dogs in the Berner Garde Health data base. We are involved in breed education, breed rescue, members in good standing with the Canadian Kennel Club, the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of Canada and the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of America.
